Your wedding is, and should be, one of the happiest moments of your life. At Upsala Presbyterian Church, we rejoice in this experience and are eager to make every phase one that will be remembered with deep satisfaction. Whether you are looking for an intimate, historic setting or a larger traditional space, we are committed to making your wedding all you want it to be.

We offer two beautiful spaces for your ceremony, backed by over 130 years of rich community heritage.
The 1891 Chapel
The 1891 Chapel
Seating capacity 60
Historic 1891 Chapel—Perfect for small-medium Christian wedding with a beautiful air conditioned interior and exterior grounds.
The Chapel is the last remaining original historic structure from founding of New Upsala Swedish Community.

The Main Sanctuary
The Main Sanctuary
Seating capacity 200
The updated worship sactuary is perfect for medium sized weddings, seating up to 200 attendees. The sanctuary has full audio visual capabilities. Piano, Organ and potential to incorporate other instruments directly to the AV panel.

Pricing
Pricing
We offer affordable options for both church members and guests. Please note: A Security/Damage Deposit of $250 is required for all non-member weddings, which is fully refundable unless damage occurs to the facilities.
Facility Use (Includes 6 Hours of Time):
Main Sanctuary: $500 for Guests | $100 for Members
Historic Chapel: $500 for Guests | $100 for Members
Additional time: $35 per hour after the initial 6 hours.
Additional Services:
Pastor Services: $200 for Guests | $0 for Members (Note: Pre-marital counseling is highly recommended and available for $50 per session).
Custodian Fee (Required): $100 for Guests | $50 for Members (Includes setup, clean-up, and dressing areas).
Tech Director: $50 (To assist with digital tracks, lighting, and sound equipment).
Pianist / Soloist: Fee to be determined by the musician.
Fellowship Hall / Kitchen (Members Only): $50.
Planning your ceremony
Planning your ceremony
The Officiant: A representative of Upsala Presbyterian Church (normally our pastor) must be present at all rehearsal and wedding services. Outside ministers are welcome but must be approved by the Session.
Music & Technology: Our Tech Director is available to ensure your digital tracks or devices work perfectly for your special day (all tracks must be provided 48 hours in advance). All music must be commensurate with a Christian wedding.
Flowers & Decor: You are welcome to bring in your own florist. We ask that you protect our historic facilities by not using nails, tacks, or tape on the furniture or walls. A Unity Candle may be used, but all other candles must be LED.
Photography & Video: Photographers and videographers are warmly welcomed! We simply ask that they consult with the presiding pastor prior to the ceremony and refrain from using flash or moving disruptively during the service.
Note: All weddings must be approved by our church board and must be booked at least a month in advance.
